JVC TH-SB100 If you are ready to experience the Full HD 1080p resolution from Blu-ray Discs (and also be able to play standard DVD movies and music CDs), but don't want to worry about the hassle of running long speaker wires from the front of the room to rear surround sound speakers, or even running a subwoofer cable, consider the $650 JVC TH-SB100 Blu-ray Soundbar System pictured to the right.
JVC was nice enough to include an optical digital audio cable to run from the Blu-ray Disc player to the sound bar speaker (which has two optical digital audio inputs and an analog stereo RCA input), but you will need to separately purchase or supply your own HDMI cable to send video out to your HD TV. The powered subwoofer is wireless, which means that you can locate it anywhere in the same room that's near an AC power outlet. A remote control is included.
