Vizio VHT510 The 3.1 speaker Vizio VHT510 "5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater with Wireless Subwoofer" system is pictured to the right. Improving upon last years 1.1 speaker soundbar + wireless subwoofer virtual surround design, the VHT 510 adds a pair of hard-wired actual rear surround speakers so you can experience more immersive 5.1 channel surround sound audio effects from fewer than six speakers.
The 40 inch long soundbar speaker integrates the front left, center, and right channels (using seven total drivers) into a single unit with built-in swivel stand so it can either sit or be wall mounted underneath high definition TVs larger than 40 inches.
The two small satellite speakers provide rear surround effects. Lastly, low frequency bass effects are handled by the 6½ inch long throw "wireless" powered subwoofer which can be located anywhere in the room that's both in clear line of sight within 60 feet of the sound bar and near an AC outlet for power.
Inputs on the soundbar include one each of optical digital S/PDIF and analog L/R stereo RCA. Includes remote control. |
